COACHING

I do not approach creativity as a talent to refine or a skill to optimize for producing something. I understand it as a way of being in the world. A way of sensing, paying attention, and staying in relationship with what is actually happening inside each one of us. It is part of our story. Our hopes, fears, dreams, and more. Much more.

I do not coach people to simply “make art,” though that is part of the process. We begin with questions, sometimes clear, sometimes vague, or sometimes impossible to name. The work is not oriented toward solutions, but toward learning how to stay with what is already present. In Jungian terms, this is part of Inner Work. I call it learning how to listen, as it includes the whole body.

This work is not separate from how you respond to the world around you: ecological collapse, war, the erosion of democratic life. What is happening to the world is also happening within you. Your consciousness is not separate.

This approach grows out of my background as a multimedia artist, my training in somatic therapy, and years of working with ritual. Ritual taught me that insight does not arrive through force or explanation, but through the willingness to remain with a process long enough for something to transform. That takes safety and commitment.

Who this is for?

This work is for people who sense stagnation in their creative, professional, or inner life. They are not looking for creative hacks or production-driven programs. They are looking for a more honest relationship with their inner life.

You may be a filmmaker, writer, teacher, researcher, or someone whose work depends on sustained attention. You may be in transition, uncertainty, or exhaustion. You do not need to identify as “creative”. Arriving with questions is enough.

How we work

We begin by slowing down and listening. We notice where you are, what repeats, what feels unfinished, and what remains difficult to articulate.

From there, we agree on some practices, all shaped around your questions. These may include somatic work and nervous-system regulation, time away from screens, voice, sound, drawing, painting, writing, photography, or simple rituals you can continue at home. Journaling is central to this process, as it reveals the major patterns: what repeats, what resists, what asks for attention, what is beginning to shift.

Creative media extends this process. Whatever emerges over the course of our sessions is not judged aesthetically or treated as an outcome. Images, sounds, texts, or films function as ways of seeing more clearly.
